First Engagement session of 2014!

Happy New Year! I am very excited to share this e-session with you as the first for 2014! This couple had two very specific requests for their pictures, one a glamorous night club scene (BIG thank you to the management at Christy's On the Square for letting us shoot!) and the second a natural setting encorporating travel. The pair are from two different countries and met while on vacation in a third, so traveling is a key element to their relationship and soon to be marriage. In the 2 days we shot these images I enjoyed getting to know my clients immensely and was reminded that true love is truly alive in our modern world. Tim and Michelle's Sonoma Golf Club Wedding

Here is a sneak peek from a beautiful Fall wedding in Sonoma. Preparations took place at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa who also provided the catering and cake at the reception. The pink exterior and crawling ivy couldn't have been more breathtaking. The couple exchanged vows at Sonoma Golf Club at dusk in the courtyard followed by dinner and dancing inside the clubhouse. The couple wrapped homemade cookies in individual bags with ribbons, bakers twine, and custom labels from Zazzle for their guests. Gorgeous floral bouquets by Vanda and arguably the cutest bridesmaid dresses out there from BHLDN. Hair and make up provided by the talented stylists at Mockingbird Heights. Congrats Tim + Michelle!

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Engagement Portrait Session - Arlen & Gerald

It really doesn't get any cuter than these two! Arlen and Gerald had there first date on the pier in Santa Cruz followed by a stroll on the beach boardwalk. When they came to me for their engagement photos, it came up in conversation and was quickly decided that this would be the location for the shoot. How perfect, fun and romantic! I'm not sure who had more fun, them or me! Thank you Arlen and Gerald for letting me share this special time in your lives. Here is a sneak peak of my favorites, enjoy!

Sonoma Barn Wedding at Willow Farm - Aimee & Nathen

I am so excited to share a few of my favorites from this very special wedding of my dear friends Aimee and Nathen! They got married at Willow Farm in true Sonoma County, rustic chic style. Flowers and decor were nothing short of amazing from the talented bride herself and wonderful team at Aimee Lomeli Designs. Everything was hand picked by Aimee. Fruits and cheeses overflowed platters from Preferred Sonoma Caterers which was followed by an assortment of pies and bars from Petaluma's locally famous Bovine Bakery. Guests danced the night away in style at The Masonic Lodge and the photography is from yours truly, AE Pictures Inc. Congrats Aimee and Nathen!! I am so honored to have been part of your special day!!

Engagement Session at Private Estate in Sonoma

This couple took advantage of a private estate through vrbo.com for their e-session, great idea right!? The grounds are breathtaking and it was a challenge for me not to jump in that pool! This couple was so much fun to work with, we had an awesome time taking photos around the property and on my tandem bike, as you can probably tell!

Dave & Klea at Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma

This ceremony was full of sentiment with portraits hung on a tree at the altar of family members who have past on. Not to mention the colors, which are full of life and celebration set against the natural background.
