Engagement Session at Private Estate in Sonoma

This couple took advantage of a private estate through vrbo.com for their e-session, great idea right!? The grounds are breathtaking and it was a challenge for me not to jump in that pool! This couple was so much fun to work with, we had an awesome time taking photos around the property and on my tandem bike, as you can probably tell!

Thanks for letting me document this special time in your lives <3

Dave & Klea at Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma

This ceremony was full of sentiment with portraits hung on a tree at the altar of family members who have past on. Not to mention the colors, which are full of life and celebration set against the natural background. Westerbeke Ranch is such a diverse venue for a wedding, I'm always excited to see what each couple does with it! Shooting this wedding with Paige Green was a joy, here are some of my favorites...

Clos du Bois Wedding

Orange, blue, and a lot of cigar smoking at Clos du Bois Winery in Geyserville! A few fun highlights from the wedding I second shot with Diana Maire Photography...

Jeff & Jeniece at Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma

Two of my favorite things to photograph are 1. ceremonies at sunset and 2. ceremonies in fabulous Sonoma vineyards like Chateau St. Jean. This wedding had both! The couple planned their destination wedding from Chicago with the help of the very talented event planner, Jolene Sullivan. It was a pleasure to work with Jolene and her vendors of choice. They put a lot of attention towards details and lighting which make for beautiful images. The wedding was small, intimate, and full of love for these two people. I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed capturing them <3

Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa

This double ceremony held at Paradise Ridge was a wedding to remember. For the Hindu ceremony, the bride wore a gorgeous sari. Her hands and feet were adorned with beautiful henna markings and the alter was surrounded by yellow and orange hanging flowers. The guests were free to move about during the ceremony. The whole ceremony was fun and lively, with the officiant making light jokes as he and the couple lit the Holy Fire and were tied together by sashes.

After the Hindu ceremony the wedding party made a quick turn around and had a traditional Christian ceremony. The bride was walked down the isle by her father, followed by her bridesmaids dressed in black cocktail dresses.

Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma

Hello everyone! I am catching up on highlights from 2011 weddings, watch for blog and website updates coming soon!

This one is from Chateau St. Jean in the Sonoma hills, a beautiful place to have a wedding. The bride chose a color scheme that really complemented the setting: salmon bridesmaid dresses, summery bouquets, and turquoise necklaces as an accent. I especially love that the groom and groomsmen wore classic black and white Adidas tennis shoes.
